You have to wake up pretty early in the morning to get the Red Sand Beach all to yourself because so many people know the hidden trail from Hana to this "secret" beach. Rocks lining the reef block incoming waves and reward well-informed tourists with a large pool of water perfect for a lazy swim though some of the beach has to be shared with a semi-permanent contingent of au natural nudists and pot-smoking rastafarians.
