The Lanikai Canoe Club has teams of all ages and they regularly bring home awards from racing competitions. Members slide their canoes out of Lanikai Beach and paddle between nearby Kailua Beach and two picturesque mini-islands known as the Mokaluas, which also serve as bird sanctuaries.
