Every Third Friday for Chinatown’s Slow Art Walk we host a networking event at Bar 35 called Friday Couture. This is a Honolulu, Hawaii networking event for the local fashion industries to mix and mingle with industry creative’s and like minds. At every event we invite all to participate in a fashion instillation concept called DesignU.Design U is a creative platform for aspiring and established Stylists, Designers, Models, Make-Up Artist's and Salons to come together and collaborate on a unified vision. The mission is to create and foster a cosmopolitan sanctuary that will inspire innovation, self-expression, originality, culture, sexuality, emotion and art by using the human body as the canvas.Each month we announce different a theme and it is up to U to design it and bring it and show it.
