Welcome to The Smoking Camera Photography website. My name is Joe Marquez and I am a photographer in beautiful Hawaii. My goal is to make this a fun, lively and colorful website for your enjoyment. Don't hesitate to leave a comment or two.

I am fortunate to live in picturesque Hawaii with many unique island photo opportunities. These include North Shore Surfing at Pipeline, Humpback Whales, as well as the natural scenery and landscapes of Maui, Kauai, the Big Island and Oahu.

In addition, I have access to many festivals, fiestas and events in Honolulu and Waikiki. These include Hula, Bollywood, the Floating Lanterns and many more.

My photography interests have also taken me to Peru, Ecuador, Machu Picchu, the Galapagos Islands, New York City (check out the Halloween Parade Gallery), Chicago and New Orleans. Recently, I returned from the annual Venice Carnival in Italy and with the help of Silvano Candeo, a superb Italian photographer, I took many photos of the famous Costume Masks.
